Valais Blacknose Sheep

Daisy is a first time momma who birthed twins 3/28/23. She has been doing a fantastic job with her babies and has been attentive to them. She did not have trouble with the birth. Daisy is an F1 Valais (50% with the other 50% being Romney). She does have horns.

Hyacinth is a proven ewe, having lambed a healthy ram May 2023. She is a fantastic mother, doting on her little Henry! Hyacinth's mom is Rose who happens to be the first Valais sheep that came to Woolgate Farm. Hyacinth is very friendly and often asks to be pet. She is an F2 with the remaining 25% being Teeswater. She has a twin sister Lily.

Suzie is a very robust ewe lamb that was born as a single. She weighed in at about 15 pounds at birth! Her mama, Selah, is taking great care of her. Suzie is 37.5% Valais/67.5% Romney. Her mama is a registered Romney. Suzie can be registered with the Valais Blacknose Sheep Society as a foundation ewe. She is a great way to get your Valais journey started as her offspring would be 68% Valais when paired with a purebred ram. Suzie is friendly and is often coming up to me to be petted whenever I am in the barn! She is a lovely ewe and would make a wonderful addition to your farm!

Rangler is 37.5% Valais. Mom is Ruth, a black purebred Romney. Father is Titus, an F2 (Trixie x Flanders). Rangler is the only surviving baby from triplets. Mom had to have a C-section and Rangler is the one that survived. He is very friendly and comes running when I go into the barn!

Desmond (Desi) is a young ram lamb that was born on Nov 6, 2023. He is a twin and was born to first time mom, Lilly. His dad, Dawson, is a purebred Valais ram that lives on the farm so Desi was naturally conceived. Lilly is an F2 and Dawson is a purebred so that makes Desi an F3 (87.5%)! He and his twin sister are the first F3s to be born at Woolgate Farm and we are so thrilled for their healthy arrival. Cute, friendly, curly, great personality, all the qualities of a good Valais! Bring Desi to your farm as a ram lamb and prepare to use him to grow your own Valais flock or wether him and use him as part of your petting zoo or as the cutest lawn control around!

Domino is a calm, healthy boy. He has a twin sister. Domino tends to be a bit on the shy side but is not opposed to being pet and has great potential to be a friendly member of your herd! He does have horns that are starting to grow. His momma is Daisy and his daddy is Titus, both sheep that were born at Woolgate Farm! Domino is 37.5% Valais. He was banded on 5/5/23 and is up to date on his CDT vaccine.
